AfterLife is the consumer platform that guides families through everything that follows a death — and matches them, by name, to vetted local suppliers. Families see real choice, but the field is strictly limited — and you're in it as a preferred partner, based on our vetting. Subscribe monthly or annually. No commission. No catch.

Every funeral, every probate matter, every wake involves between five and twelve small local businesses chosen by a family in grief, often from the first Google result. We are the platform that organises that experience — so families come to one trusted place, and the right vetted suppliers in their area get found.
When a family completes our walkthrough, they tell us what they need: faith, location, budget, timing. We show them the vetted suppliers in your category and area — a strictly limited field — so they can choose, with you among the preferred partners we present, based on our vetting.
Pay monthly for flexibility, or annually for a 33% discount. No commission. No tiers. No "founder" urgency. Just paid distribution at a fair, transparent price.
Co-op Funeralcare and Dignity now operate more than 1,500 funeral branches between them — and Co-op's own legal services arm, fed directly by Funeralcare referrals, hit £84m in revenue in 2024 on a path to £100m by 2027. Dignity bought Farewill in October 2024 to capture families before they ever reach a local funeral director. Over 1,100 law firms have gone in five years. The chains have built integrated demand pipelines. Independents have been left fighting for visibility on directories that sell attention to whoever can afford the most.
AfterLife is the answer the independent sector hasn't had. We will never list a national chain or a conglomerate-owned branch — in any category, in any zone. The places stay with independents. If a partner is acquired during their subscription, we work with them to find a successor independent; we don't transfer the place to the chain. The place you hold cannot be bought from underneath you.
We are not trying to replace local firms. We are trying to restore their advantage — the offline reputation, proximity, and humanity that local independents already have — to the online decision journey that has, until now, been built around scale rather than care.
Through our guided walkthrough, the family shares what they need: location, faith, budget, timing, who has died, what kind of service they want. We hold this as the case file.
From the vetted suppliers in their postcode zone and category, we present the family with the strictly limited field of vetted suppliers that fit their stated wishes — and you are among the preferred partners shown. The family chooses; you receive the introduction when they pick you.
You receive the family's details and a brief. You contact them at your usual rates, on your own terms. We are not in the room. If neither match works, we send a third.
The full document covers how introductions are vetted, what counts as a qualified referred client, how reconciliation works, how projected volumes are derived, and the partnership terms — including a dedicated section on FCA-authorised partners (life insurance, IFAs, equity release) and our COBS 2.3A-aligned structure. Designed to be shared with your accountant or compliance adviser.
